ABOUT OUR CLUB
Established in 1995 after the merger of Belmont Park and Cloverdale Bowling Clubs, Belmont City Bowling Club (BCBC) found its home at the Belmont Sports and Recreation Club Inc. on the corner of Abernethy Road and Keane Street, Cloverdale.
From that moment BCBC has combined the best of local club tradition with modern facilities to create a welcoming hub for bowls and community life.
Pennant Bowls
A structured, competitive team bowls competition played over a season where clubs field graded teams to contest weekly matches on licensed greens.
Emphasis is on consistent team selection, tactical play, and ladder progression culminating in finals and promotion/relegation outcomes.
We are always looking for players who enjoy competition
Lawn bowls at Belmont is open to all.
No experience is needed, and there’s no pressure to compete – just a great place to play, connect, and unwind.
Lawn Bowls is perfect for end of year gatherings, team building, birthday’s, and any special occasions.
All ages and abilities are welcome, with friendly, free coaching available to help you get started at your own pace. It’s low-impact, affordable, and genuinely fun.
