ABOUT OUR CLUB

The Belmont Sports and Recreation Club Pool Club has been in existence for many years and runs as an Affiliated Club of the Belmont Sports and Recreation Club Inc. on the corner of Abernethy Rd and Keane St in Cloverdale.

Our principle objective is to provide a relaxed and enjoyable environment for the participation in the sport of Pool or Eight Ball for interested parties.

We currently have 3 teams playing in the Western Australian Eight Ball Federation competitions with a spread across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd division teams. Each team consists of a core of 6 members with, normally, 2 or 3 extras to cope with players’ holidays etc.

The Club has had mixed success over the years, often winning one or other of the divisional competitions it is involved in.

We are always on the lookout for new players and any local talent who would be interested in participating in our chosen sport.

WHEN WE MEET/PLAY?

1st and 3rd division teams play on a Wednesday night.

2nd and 4th division teams play on a Monday night.

5th division teams play on a Tuesday night.

All matches start at 7:30pm and go on until fairly late (normally to about 10:30/11pm).

Playing format is for the 6 team members (4 members for 5th division) to play 5 members of the opposing team making a total of 30 games (20 games for 5th division) for the complete match. Most matches take place in a relatively relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

COSTS

Costs associated with participation are as follows:

Club Membership            $40 per year

Winter Playing Fees        $115 per season (April to September)

Summer Playing Fees     $60 per season (November to March)
